What You'll Do?

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of hospice patients doing home visits
• Work with a team of healthcare providers, clinicians and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment

What You Bring?

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a CNA
• Hospice experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification (demonstration course required)
• Reliable Transportation to travel visit-to-visit
• Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
